The The Rogue Wave comes with an omni-directional outdoor antenna and is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE). This means there is a single cable between the computer or router and the WiFi Receiver. The Rogue Wave comes with a U-Bracket style Rail Mount. Like all Wave WiFi models, the Rogue Wave is an Ethernet Converter (EC) so a direct connection can be made to any Ethernet enabled device, router or switch. This means that, when connected to a wireless router, the Rogue Wave provides Internet connectivity for numerous wireless devices aboard the boat. There is no software to install and no power robbing USB connections. The Rogue is perfect for wireless Internet access on a smaller boat, sailboat or an RV. Rogue Pro The Rogue Pro features all the same features as the Rogue PRO DB but in a more economical single band configuration. It only uses 2.4GHz. Rogue Pro DB - Dual Band The Rogue Pro DB features trouble free, high powered Dual Band WiFI performance in a polished stainless steel case. The Rogue Pro DB has an integral 1″-14 ready base for numerous standard marine fixed antenna mounts. (Antenna mounts sold separately.) In addition to the enhanced dust and moisture resistance, the stainless steel housing offers superior heat transfer and impact resistance. The Rogue Pro DB was developed in response to a need for an extremely ruggedized WiFi Receiver for commercial, military and Homeland Security projects.
