These industrial grade hoses have a smooth cover and clear FDA formula PVC with a white vinyl helix. They are rated for full vacuum and are resistant to mild chemicals and saltwater. Primarily used to bilge pump intake and discharge, potable water tank fill, drains (sinks, shower, and scupper), livewell intake and drain, and sanitation. (intake, vent and pump out) This hose is utilized for below the waterline connections. Do not use ethylene glycol based antifreeze in hose. Do not use in pressurized water systems. Hoses have a 2-ply, black synthetic rubber tube and cover and are reinforced with wire helix embedded between piles of HD synthetic cord. They are resistant to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, anti-freeze and saltwater. Hoses are abrasion and odor permeation resistant and have double the ozone resistance required by the SAEJ2006. Primarily used for engine intake, bilge pump intake/discharge and scupper lines. This hose is also used for wet exhaust connections (use where bends or long lengths are required). May also be used for toilet intake/ discharge, and holding tank vent/pump out. The temperature ranges from -20°F - +200°F continuous, +250°F intermittent. The hose meets SAEJ2006 Type R2 standards.
